Don’t Die With Your Music Still In You!

In a world of so much noise, it is so nice to notice the words that glue to your heart. When I think of all the wonderful words that Dr Wayne Dyer contributed to the world and to my life, these words stuck with me the most: “Don’t Die With Your Music Still In You” and if you were to google this line, surely enough you will find an article from his daughter, Serena saying how much she grew up with this statement.

It is with great sadness that I learnt on awaking today that Dr Wayne Dyer is no longer with us in the form in which he gave so much!! His spirit will surely live on as his legacy of over 40 books and his beautiful heart will continue to contribute to our lives, and for this I am truly grateful! Today I was reminded that death really does happen and that it can be such a beautiful celebration of life, particularly when the song was sung and shared with the world like Wayne Dyer expressed his.

I don’t know if reading that statement is as strong for you as it is for me, but when I think about it, it sure does remind me that there is an end to life and even though I believe I will reincarnate and have other lives for other lessons, I will only be Lauren Jobson once with a particular message to share with the world. A beautiful, unique song to be played (sung perhaps, but even though you may see this as a limiting belief, I’m fully okay to say that I don’t have a singing voice and there is a good reason why I play the drums).

So I ask myself again; what is my song? What is my message that needs to be expressed so that it doesn’t remain the best kept secret?

And so I ask you: What is your music? What song have you got in you – what is your message?

I want to take this opportunity to send my deepest gratitude to an incredible man who gave me many wonderful spiritually, emotionally and physically uplifting experiences in reading his books and watching his documentaries/movies. You can see in the picture that I have been graced with some of his amazing wisdom and I highly recommend his work!

All my love goes out to those grieving the loss of such a massive contributor to the movement in raising human consciousness!
